Tigertriever is a mechanical thrombectomy system used to restore the blood flow in the large intracranial vessels following an ischemic stroke.
Tigertriever consists of a completely retrievable folding structure made of thin Nitinol metal wire, assembled on a metal shaft, which expands according to the diameter of the vessel.
It is inserted through an intracranial microcatheter.
The diameter of the mesh and the radial force on the vessel wall can be adjusted using the handpiece, ensuring excellent adaptability without causing stress to the vessel wall.
The mesh is radiopaque, thus ensuring perfect visibility inside the vessels.
