ULTRASOUND RENAL DENERVATION SYSTEM

Paradise® is indicated as a treatment against hypertension in patients in whom a healthy lifestyle and antihypertensives are not sufficient to control blood pressure.

Ultrasound renal denervation (uRDN) with Paradise® system is a minimally invasive procedure that lowers blood pressure by treating overactive renal nerves using ultrasound energy.

Paradise® consists of a generator and a balloon catheter. The catheter delivers energy in a 360° circumferential direction while simultaneously protecting the arterial wall with a cooling system. The emission of ultrasound (sonications) lasts 7 seconds and it is possible to emit 2-3 sonications to the main renal artery. The generator controls energy delivery and cooling based on vessel size to ensure adequate therapy.

In this way, the system enables the ablation of 80% of the nerves, offering a lasting treatment for resistant or uncontrolled hypertension, proven to be safe and effective.
