Comaneci consists of a completely retrievable folding structure made of thin Nitinol wire, assembled on a metal shaft, which expands according to the diameter of the vessel.

It is inserted through an intracranial microcatheter.

The diameter of the mesh and the radial force on the vessel wall can be adjusted using the handpiece, thus ensuring excellent adaptability to the neck of the aneurysm.

The mesh is radiopaque thus ensuring perfect visibility inside the vessels.

It does not obstruct the blood flow during the procedure, making it quicker and simpler than with the use of a balloon.

Having implanted the coils in the aneurysm, the mesh is removed, thus leaving the vessel free. The long anti-platelet therapy required after stent implantation is therefore not necessary.
