SUTURE-BASED SYSTEM FOR PFO

Noblestitch™ EL is a percutaneous stitch closure system for patent foramen ovale.

Three devices supplied in a single sterile kit for the release and fixing of non-resorbable stitches made of polypropylene 4-0 enable PFO to be closed in three steps:

1. Noblestitch EL ‘S’ positions the first stitch through the septum secundum
2. Noblestitch EL ‘P’ positions the second stitch through the septum primum
3. The “KwiKnot™” device is used to close the foramen ovale by fixing the stitches with a two-element system made of polypropylene

• No metal prosthesis implanted
• No risk of dislocation or erosion
• Does not prevent future transseptal procedures
• Does not cause allergies caused by nickel
• TEE and general anaesthesia not mandatory
